July Event Highlights

Summer is here and San Diego North attractions are celebrating with extended hours and special activities. Check out the new Elephant Odyssey exhibit at the San Diego Zoo or try the thrilling Flightline adventure at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. Enjoy fireworks and nighttime shows at SeaWorld Summer Nights. Kids will also love the interactive Children's Garden at Quail Botanical Gardens and the new Egyptian-themed Dune Raiders slide attraction at Legoland.

Relive "American Graffiti" at Cruisin' Grand in downtown Escondido, where vintage cars cruise along the street every Friday evening. Or hop on board Hornblower for a relaxing 'Sights & Sips' Sunset Bay Cruise any Friday or Saturday throughout the summer.

And don't miss the start of the Del Mar Racing season in late July; be part of the magic and nostalgia of this long-time tradition dating back to 1937 when Bing Crosby greeted the first guests, and Seabiscuit won by a nose in the infamous race in 1938.
