La Jolla Torrey Pines North Golf Course Hole 6 - This signature hole is the most-often photographed because of the spectacular views of the coastline. Bogeys abound however, most of which result from tee shots left into the canyon. Any wind here is exciting.
La Jolla Torrey Pines North Golf Course Hole 7- If the 6th hole doesn't rattle the sticks, this one will. Torrey regulars never hike up past the feeding rabbits to the tournament tee, that is, unless they're sneaking a peak at the swimsuit optional Black's Beach below or taking a picture for tourists in their group. It's a place worthy of a moment of silence.
La Jolla Torrey Pines North Golf Course Hole 13 - This is a tough dogleg left par-4 hole that produces more 24 bogeys than birdies. The back tee stretches in to 469 yards, the middle tee to 451 yards. Look for 3- to 6-iron approach shots instead of wedge or 9-irons.
La Jolla Torrey Pines South Golf Course Hole 15 - Watch the trees to the left. Tiger Woods was in the trees in 1999 but managed to poke an iron onto the green through an opening the size of a doggie door. But can you do that?
La Jolla Torrey Pines South Golf Course Hole 16 - Careful you don't rush a 4-iron into the canyon left. It seems to have a ball magnet buried in it.
